This July, we focused on making it easier for communities to stay active, organized, and member-led. From giving sold-out events a second chance with waitlists to removing approval delays for member-created events and improving attendance tracking with QR check-out, these updates are all about keeping things moving with less admin effort.

## ✨ What’s New at Raklet?

Event waitlists now help you keep interested attendees engaged even after an event sells out. Member-created events can now be auto-approved, giving members more freedom to organize without creating extra admin work. And QR check-in now works both ways, with a second scan checking members out and giving you a clearer picture of attendance.

## 🎟️ Event Waitlists

A sold-out event no longer has to mean a dead end. Members can now join a waitlist when tickets are no longer available, while admins can easily see who is next in line when a spot opens up.

**What you can do:**

- Let members join a waitlist directly from sold-out events
- View the full waitlist from the event detail page
- Keep track of interested attendees when additional spots become available
- Reach out to the right members when cancellations create new availability

## 📲 QR Check-Out

QR attendance tracking now goes beyond check-in. Scan a member’s QR code once to check them in, then scan it again when they leave to check them out.

**What you can do:**

- Scan member QR codes to check attendees in
- Scan the same QR code again to check them out
- Record both check-in and check-out activity automatically
- Review attendance activity to understand when members arrived and left

**Why it matters:**

- You get a more complete picture of attendance instead of simply knowing who showed up.
- Classes, coworking spaces, gyms, clubs, and other attendance-based communities can better understand how their spaces are being used.
- Check-in and check-out records give your team a clearer activity history without additional manual tracking.

## 🗓️ Faster Member-Created Events

Members could already propose their own events. Now you can remove the approval bottleneck entirely by allowing eligible member-created events to go live automatically.

- Give members a new My Submissions page where they can track every event they’ve proposed and its current status

Keeping your contact list healthy just got easier. You can now filter contacts by **email delivery blocked** to quickly identify addresses that bounce or reject your emails.
