Who is ENA and what are we doing?

The European NORM Association (ENA) is a platform of experts from:

  • industry operators and industry associations that are dealing with natural radioactivity in their raw materials, processes and residues;
  • governmental and regulatory authorities in the field of radiation protection;
  • service providers such as laboratories and consultants;
  • research and scientific organisations.

The mission of the European NORM association is to promote and advance radiation protection in the context of exposure to NORM. Next, to the workshops and symposia, which are the basis of ENA, there are three working groups:

  • NORM in building materials
  • NORM in the environment
  • NORM in industries

Every member of ENA is welcome to become active in one of our working groups which not only can supply relevant information but also can be seen as an interesting networking tool. To show your involvement to one (or more than one) of these working groups you may contact the several working group managers.
