October is off to a fast start at Raklet. We’ve shipped so much in the first few weeks that we’re splitting this month’s update into parts, and this is the first one. Many of these features started as requests from the communities, associations and nonprofits using Raklet every day, so thank you for telling us what you need.
This round is all about richer events: event pages can now carry a full program with speakers and an agenda, classes arrive as a new event type with their own weekly timetable, and a set of smaller improvements makes everyday work smoother. More is on the way before the month is out.
Let’s dive into what’s new 🚀
🎤 Showcase your event speakers and agenda
Your event page can now tell the full story of your event. Add your speakers and a session-by-session agenda, and participants see exactly what to expect before they register.
What you can do:
- Add speakers with a photo, title, and an optional website or member profile link.
- Build an agenda with times, session titles, and the speakers assigned to each session.
- Copy the whole program from a previous event instead of rebuilding it from scratch.
- Recurring events carry the speakers and agenda over to every occurrence automatically.
Why it matters:
- A complete event page builds trust and brings in more registrations.
- Attendees can plan ahead and decide which sessions to join.
- Conferences and multi-session events no longer need a separate program page outside Raklet.

🧘 Classes, with a weekly timetable
If your organization runs yoga sessions, dance lessons, language courses or training workshops, you can now create them as a Class: a new event type built for regular sessions, with an instructor, a room, and a weekly timetable your members can plan around.
What you can do:
- Create a class by choosing Class as the event type, then add one or more instructors from your contacts and the room where it takes place.
- Set it up as a weekly recurring class with a capacity per session, and offer free, paid or donation spots.
- Members see a Book a spot button, the instructor and room on the class page, and attendees listed as students.
- All classes appear in a weekly timetable in the member portal, showing day, time, room and instructor, with a filter by instructor.
- Show the same timetable on your own website with the events embed.
Why it matters:
- Dance schools, fitness studios, and training providers get a real class schedule without leaving Raklet.
- Members plan their week in seconds instead of scrolling through an event list.
- Classes keep everything events already do: coupons, reminders, check-in, participant lists and reports.

✨ Small but handy improvements
Alongside the bigger releases, October brought a set of smaller touches you’ll notice day to day:
- Duplicate email templates: Copy an existing template from the list or the editor, tweak the copy, and the original stays untouched. Learn more
- Save any message as a template: Turn a draft or a sent email into a reusable template in one step. Learn more
- Animated GIFs in emails: Upload GIFs to the Media Gallery and they stay animated in the emails your members receive. Learn more
- Smoother application review: The membership applications list now loads more applicants as you scroll, so reviewers working through a large backlog no longer need to click “View More” again and again. Requested by one of our customers reviewing hundreds of applications. Learn more
- Rename saved segments: Give a saved segment a better name without rebuilding its filters. Learn more
- Admins hear about cancellations: Organization admins now get an email when a member cancels their subscription. Learn more
- Smarter event checkout: Billing details are pre-filled from the member’s profile, and new events start with your organization’s country already selected. Learn more
- Richer event receipts: Receipt emails list each ticket type and attendee name.
- Faster login: Signed-in users skip the login form, and admins of a single organization land straight on their dashboard.
Your feedback shapes what we build next. If something could work better for your organization, or there’s a feature you’d love to see, tell us through the live chat in your admin panel. We read every message, and you may see your idea in October #2.
