✨ What’s New at Raklet?

Take a peek at the improvements and powerful new tools we’ve introduced recently:

1. Google Wallet Integration for Digital Membership Cards

We’ve expanded our digital membership card options! 🎉

With the new Google Wallet integration, members can now save and access their digital membership cards directly in Google Wallet on their devices.

📲 Easy access anytime, anywhere

🎟️ Smooth check-ins and verifications

🌍 Works seamlessly alongside Apple Wallet support

This update makes it even more convenient for your members to carry and use their membership cards.

2. Credit Card Information on Applications Page

We’ve added more visibility for admins when reviewing applications. 💳

Now, on the Applications page, you’ll see whether applicants entered their credit card details during the application process. This is displayed with a ✅ (Yes) or ❌ (No) for quick reference across all applicants.

In addition:

📊 The export file also includes this information.

🤝 Admins can easily identify applicants who haven’t added their cards and follow up with them to complete payment.

This improvement helps streamline the onboarding process and reduces delays in completing applications.

3. Automatic Follow-Up Emails for Pending Applications

We’ve introduced a new process to help convert pending applications into active members. 💡

Pending applications may occur when a payment has failed or was never attempted. To improve conversions, the system will now:

📧 Automatically send follow-up emails at 24 hours and 72 hours after the pending status.

📝 Use default email templates (created by us) that admins can fully customize to fit their organization’s tone and style.

🚀 Help organizations re-engage applicants and turn pending applications into new memberships.

This update makes it easier to recover incomplete applications and grow your member base.

4. Filter Contacts by Scheduled Payments

We’ve made it easier for admins to manage subscriptions & renewals. 🚀

With this update, you can now filter your contacts by scheduled payments to see who has already set up auto-renewal for their subscriptions.

This gives admins the ability to:

✅ Quickly identify members who haven’t enabled auto-renewal

✅ Reach out to them via email directly from the platform

✅ Encourage members to save their credit cards and set up auto-renewal for a smoother renewal experience

This improvement helps retain subscribers, saves time for admins, and ensures a more seamless membership journey for your community.

5. Automated Email Stats for Boards

Admins can now track the performance of their board notification emails directly under Messages > Automated. 📊

With this update, you’ll see detailed statistics for your daily or weekly board notifications, including:

📩 Number of subscribers who received the email

👀 Open rates

🔗 Click rates on board posts and comments

🚫 Errors

These insights make it easier to understand member engagement with your board activity and improve communication strategies.

6. Board Subscription Filtering in Contacts

We’ve made it easier to manage and communicate with board subscribers. 📌

A new “Boards” column has been added to the Contacts page, and admins can now filter by board subscriptions. For example, when filtering by Boards is (Board Name), you’ll instantly see all subscribers of that specific board.

With this update, admins can:

✅ Create and save filters as segments

✅ Target and communicate directly with subscribers of specific boards

✅ Streamline board-related engagement and messaging

This enhancement gives you more control and flexibility in managing your community communications.

7. Assign Member Numbers via Data Import

We’ve improved the data import process to make it easier for organizations to assign membership numbers in bulk.

Previously, imports using the RakletId and MemberNo fields did not update member numbers correctly. With this update:

✅ You can now export contacts with RakletId, assign member numbers externally, and then re-import the file.

✅ The system will automatically match contacts by RakletId and assign the provided MemberNo values.

✅ This ensures that members without a number can quickly and accurately be updated in bulk.

This enhancement gives organizations more flexibility and saves time when managing membership data. Learn more about bulk updating member numbers using Data Import tool

8. Member Types Renamed

We’ve simplified and clarified how member types are displayed in your account. 🙌

Member types are now positioned as contact types, with clearer naming for easier management:

  • Member / Employee – standard individual members
  • Company – previously “Corporate Member”
  • Sub-member – previously “Corporate Submember”
  • Potential Members, Donors, Event Participants – non-members who cannot log in but are still listed under Contacts for your records

This update makes it easier to understand at a glance who’s who in your database while keeping all relevant contacts visible for your organization.

9. Editing Sub-members During the Application Phase

We’ve improved the Group Membership experience! 🎉

When companies or families apply for group membership, the primary member can add sub-members (e.g., employees or family members) with details such as email, birthdate, and subscription plan. However, once those details were entered, it wasn’t possible to make changes during the application process.

With this update, primary members can now edit sub-member information during the application phase. This means that if any details are missing or entered incorrectly, they can be quickly fixed before the application is submitted.

✅ Smoother onboarding for group memberships
✅ Fewer errors and manual corrections later
✅ Better experience for both admins and members

10. Country Pre-Selection in Application Forms

We’ve improved the application form experience by making it smarter and faster. 🌍

When you add a country field to your application form, the system will now automatically pre-select your organization’s country as the default.

✅ Saves applicants time with fewer clicks

✅ Reduces errors during form submission

✅ Still allows applicants to choose a different country if they’re located elsewhere

This small improvement helps streamline the signup process while keeping flexibility for international applicants.
