2.  Detection and Monitoring

Raklet employs a combination of automated and manual systems to detect potential violations:

Detection Method Description
Keyword / content scanning Automated scanning of event titles, descriptions, listings, communication fields for high-risk terms or flagged content
Transaction analysis Monitoring who is paid, transaction volumes, patterns, risk signals from payment processors
User reports / complaints Buyers or third-parties may report suspected violations to Raklet’s support/compliance team
Manual review / audits Compliance staff periodically review high-risk accounts or flagged behavior
Account linkage / device analysis Device fingerprinting, IP overlap, email reuse, account network analysis
Third-party risk tools Use of fraud detection / risk scoring systems (Stripe Radar, proprietary checks, external services)

If any suspicious activity is detected, the system / staff flags the merchant account for further review and possible temporary hold.

3. Enforcement & Remediation Procedures

When a violation is suspected or confirmed, Raklet enforces the following escalation:

    1. Account Flagging & Payout Hold

        • The merchant’s account is immediately flagged, and all pending or upcoming payouts are placed on hold.

    1. Notice & Opportunity to Respond

        • Raklet sends the merchant written notice describing the alleged violation and requests clarification or remedial actions within a set timeframe (e.g. 3–5 business days).

    1. Investigation & Determination

        • Compliance team reviews the merchant’s content, transaction history, and any provided explanation or evidence.

    1. Corrective Action / Suspension

        • If the violation is minor or remediable, the merchant may be required to correct the content, remove prohibited elements, or modify behavior within a deadline.

        • The account may be temporarily suspended until compliance is confirmed.

    1. Termination / Permanent Suspension

        • For severe, repeated, or intentional violations, Raklet permanently terminates the account and blocks further access or payouts.

    1. Reporting & Escalation

        • Where required, Raklet reports the violation to payment processors, regulatory bodies, or law enforcement.

        • Raklet retains logs of the violation, communications, and enforcement actions.

    1. Appeals / Dispute Process (Optional)

        • If the merchant believes the violation was in error, they may submit an appeal. Compliance staff re-evaluate and respond within a defined SLA (e.g. within 7 business days).

        • Final decision is binding, and repeated appeals without merit may result in immediate termination.

4. Rights & Audit Powers

    • Raklet retains the right to inspect content, transactions, metadata, communications associated with merchant accounts for compliance review.

    • Raklet may require additional documentation, proof of legitimacy, or business compliance certificates from merchants.

    • Raklet may update this AUP Appendix at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

5. Integration with Terms of Use

    • This AUP Appendix is deemed part of Raklet’s Terms of Use.

    • In case of conflict, the stricter or more explicit policy (likely this Appendix) prevails for compliance purposes.

    • Merchants must agree to both the Terms of Use and this Appendix to access Raklet’s payment-enabled features.
